Recently, it was revealed that Verizon Wireless would be hiking up its activation and upgrade fees, and it looks like the Big Red carrier isn’t done changing a few things around.Verizon Wireless will alter the pricing of several of its More Everything tiers beginning Thursday, February 5, while at the same time adding a couple more options for those who really need more data every month. The good news with these price changes is that Verizon is actually cutting the monthly pricing a bit for the majority of its plans, while a few are remaining the same.
Specifically, the 6GB per month plan that was originally $80 per month will now be only $70 per month. The 8GB per month plan will go down to $85 per month, which was originally $90 per month. The 1GB, 2GB, 3GB and 4GB plans are also getting price cuts, all dropping $10 per month from their original prices. The 500MB per month option is staying the same.
Here’s the full list:
That’s not all, though. Verizon is also going to initiate a few changes to the way that discounts are applied to those on the carrier’s Edge plans, with the monthly access fee dropping down to $!5 per month (from $40 per month) on subscribers that are on Edge plans of 6GB per month or more.
The new tweaks are going to go in effect on February 5, the same day that Verizon’s tweaks to activations and upgrades go live.
