Tired of poor network reception in your area? Well there is a case to fix that. Antenna79 unveiled their new brand of cases — Reach79 — at CES 2015 that claims to boost the signal strength of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus by nearly two times.

Thanks to an improved signal, Reach79 claims that the battery life of your iPhone will also improve battery life, provide faster download speeds over HSPA+/LTE, and reduce the number of dropped calls. The cases provide military grade drop protection and are embedded with a “micro-thin, gold-plated antenna.”

The patented antenna technology inside each case is engineered to automatically pair through passive coupling with the antennas within a smartphone. The company claims that this combined antenna system creates superior signal reception and transmission enables the device to work more efficiently. In tests conducted at CETECOM, a CTIA accredited facility, the cases proved to boost the signal strength by 1.6 times on an average with performance topping at 2x the original signal strength.

The accessory maker does warn that the performance of the case will vary depending on your device, carrier and location. The Reach79 is already available for purchase through the company’s website, but only in black for now with additional colors to be made available in the next couple of months. The iPhone 6 variant of the case is priced at $59.99, the iPhone 6 Plus version will set you back by $69.99.
