As it stands right now, the Apple Watch doesn’t have an exact launch date just yet, but Tim Cook has confirmed it’s on schedule to begin shipping in April. So that’s a start.Unsurprisingly, that means the Watch is obviously nearing its final stages of manufacturing and shipping, which also means that more people have the wearable strapped to their wrist. On top of that, Apple has already been field testing the device with employees, engineers and others, so catching the wearable out in the wild is a sure thing.
Which is why seeing images of the Watch out in the real world are not all that surprising, but still fun nevertheless, and a couple of them have cropped up now. Thanks to forums postings within MacRumors, a few shots of the Watch out in the real world have been showcased. According to the aggregation of photos and stories, the first Watch showing appeared to be about two weeks ago, when Suzy Menkes, a Vogue Editor, grabbed a quick shot of the device on someone’s wrist.
Another image also showed up in the forums that shows the Watch in a bit less clear image, but nonetheless definitely appears to be the Watch. This image was captured in the San Francisco Marina area apparently, and was shared on Twitter by RaceJohnson (@RaceJohnson).
What do you think of the device out in the wild?
