Tweetbot for Mac, is one of the most popular third-party Twitter clients available within the Mac App Store, and with so many devices out there running the app, it’s likely that many users have noticed it looks a bit out of place with the new OS X Yosemite aesthetic.Of course, not every app has to look like Apple’s proprietary software, but many popular apps seem to adopt some form of the design or overall visual approach to the new software that’s released. So, perhaps it should not come as a surprise that a new version of Tweetbot for Mac will apparently have a bit of a redesign, if a new photo tweeted by Mark Jardine, a designer for Tweetbots (the development name behind Tweetbot), is to be believed.
The image above was the aforementioned tweet, and seems to showcase a redesign for Tweetbot for Mac, with round avatars and a bit lighter aesthetic. There’s a bit of translucency, too, so it looks like it will fit in nicely with Yosemite.
Unfortunately, only 2015 was thrown in with the tweet, so there’s no final release date for this upcoming app. Something to look forward to for Tweetbot users, at least.
