India’s Home Ministry banned all Bulk SMS and MMS services for 15 days all over country to curb spread of rumors which has led to exodus of North Eastern people from other parts of India. According to TRAI from today onwards one can send only 5 SMS through their phone and MMS of only less than 25 KB is able to send.

This restriction is applicable to all users of any provider either GSM /CDMA. The guys that communicate through sms want to look after for a new way for 15 days. Wide spread protection are emerging through social networking sites and this regulation affected the youth very seriously. This restriction does not apply on the SMS, MMS in respect of transactional message related institutions such as Banking, Financial institutes & Railways.
