Sistema Shyam TeleServices limited (SSTL in operation with its telecom service brand MTS has launched a new Mobile Advertising Service referred to as mAd. The MTS mAd can create viewer engagement through its exciting offering of FREE mobile calling. The launch of this service makes MTS the primary telecom operator to supply this unique service on a pan India basis.

MTS Smartphone customers will get free local calls by simply watching mAd video ads on their handsets. MTS mAd is totally FREE for MTS customers – it needs no activation charges, no application download charges similarly as no datatransfer charges whereas viewing video ads.

Popular brands like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mentos, Center fresh, Fiat, Kellogg’s, Titan, Lenovo have partnered with MTS for this service.MTS mAd service is on the market on all android devices on the MTS network including MTS MTag 3.1, MTS MTag 351, MTS MTag 352, MTS MTag 353, MTS MTag 401, MTS Pulse, Samsung Galaxy Y and Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos CDMA. The platform are going to be extended soon for Blackberry and BREW enabled entry level MTS handsets.

To activate this service MTS clients need to SMS free to 55559 or call customer care 155 (Toll Free). then they’ll get a link to download MTS mAd call application that has to be installed on the phone. A demo video can play, that may explain the method.

Whenever a client makes a call, will automatic pop up can ask the client for a Free call or Paid call. just in case of the free call, a seamless video ad can play for 20-30 seconds, post that the call will be connected. once completion, free 60seconds of local calling will be credited to the customer’s account and also the same are confirmed via SMS. Customers can create 4 MTS mAd calls in a day, then the Free call pop up will not be displayed.
