Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL), India’s first 3G Mobile service operator will introduce a new 3G prepaid plan “MTNL Tikadi (Triplet)” for customer in Mumbai city. Under this plan, prepaid customers of MTNL can avail unlimited free calling services and without any cap on 1 MTNL landline/CDMA number and 1 MTNL GSM Mobile Number within Mumbai circle.

The service is now available at just Rs.20/-.New Customers can be activated using First Recharge Coupon FRC 88 which will offer free talktime of Rs.33 with validity of one year. This plan is soon going to available from 9th April, 2012 onwards.

New customers can obtain the MTNL tikadi by additionally paying Rs.10 for new SIM. MTNL Tikadi plan customers will be charged 1p/sec for all local/STD voice and video calls made from home network. The 3G data charges in home network and during roaming will be 1p/10kb.

To avail the facility of unlimited free calling (without any cap) on any 2 MTNL numbers, customers will have to recharge with Rs.20/- per month as group management charges and one time recharge of Rs.25/- for number registration charges. In order to add the mobile number and landline number of MTNL, after subscribing the plan, the customer needs to dial *456# and activate MyGroup service and dial *456*1*91 (Mobile Number/Landline Number followed by 22)#.
