Google celebrates Star Trek Anniversary with an amazing Doodle

Along with Google Doodle , the 46th anniversary of the cult TV show Star Trek is Saturday but Googles celebrating the event early with an amazing animated interactive doodle posted to the main search page on last Friday.

This doodle has four scenes. It starts on the bridge of the Star ship Enterprise populated with the letters in the search giants name dressed in the uniforms made famous in the series first aired on September 8, 1966, with the episode The Man Trap. If you click on the console, you will hear some sound effects from the show. Sound effects, especially sound of sliding doors on the star ship, are sprinkled around the doodle. Click on the red o, you will directed to a to a close-up of it. Clicking on the door at the right edge of the doodle takes you to the star ships transporter room.

This wonderful doodle has been created by the Googles chief doodler Mr. Ryan Germick, , and Doug Simpkinson.
