Do you want to keep your Lock screen clean and tidy rather than having it filled with notifications? If so, you might be interested in a new jailbreak tweak dubbed as CleanLock that helps you keep your Lock screen more organized.

The tweak hides all the notifications on your Lock screen preventing them from cluttering and adds a tiny red dot next to the clock. When you receive a notification, the red dot will appear and start to glow indicating that there’s a pending notification as shown below.

To view all the notifications you’ve received, you can simply tap on the right side of the Lock screen which opens a sidebar-like interface with a list of all the notifications you’ve received. Tapping on any notification provides a preview of its content on the Lock screen as well as all the notifications received from that particular app.

Other than this, CleanLock provides the following additional functionality:

  • Keep notifications on the Lock screen even when you unlock your device
  • Choose the notifications that will wake your device
  • Clear individual or all notifications at once

The best thing about the tweak is that it comes with a ton of customization options allowing the user to customize the tweak according to his or her liking. This said, once you install CleanLock, you can configure the tweak from its preference pane in the stock Settings app.

You’ll find a kill switch toggle that allows you to enable or disable the tweak on demand as well as three different sections named Notification, Drawer and Extra.

In the Notification section, you can customize the notification dot that appears on the Lock screen. For instance, you can change the size of the dot, adjust its position, choose its color, enable or disable animated glow and much more. All the changes that you make will be applied right away without requiring you to respring your device.

Next, the Drawer section allows you to customize the sidebar-like interface that displays all the notifications. You can adjust its width, change its background, badge and text color, hide the app icon or name and much more. Lastly, the Extra section provides a few more essential options such as choosing the apps whose notifications you don’t want to get cleared.

The tweak works perfectly without having any glitches. If you’ve been looking for such a tweak, you should consider checking it out. CleanLock is available on Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $0.99.
