If you are a student residing in Australia or New Zealand and are looking to buy an Apple device, you will be glad to know that the Cupertino company’s annual “Back to School” promotion in live in your country. 

Apart from offering education pricing on a Mac or iPad, Apple is also bundling Apple Store gift cards with the purchases. The company is including a A$100/NZ$125 Apple Store gift card with the purchase of a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac or a Mac Pro. Buying any of the iPad Air(s) or an iPhone 6, 5s or 5c will entitle you to a gift card worth A$50/NZ$65. Buying an iPad mini 3 or mini 2 will only entitle you to a gift card of A$25/NZ$30.

While the amount of gift card being offered by the company is same as previous years, they can now only be used to purchase any hardware from its retail or online stores. Up until last year, the company used bundle App Store gift cards that allowed students to purchase apps, movies, music and more from the iTunes App Store. The promotion runs from January 30th to March 19th.

To qualify for the Back to School promotion, you must either be studying in a university currently or should be selected into one. The discount is also valid for parents of university students and teachers and staffs of a university.

Apple’s Back to School promotion usually starts in the United States from the end of June.
