Apple has released a new music-themed commercial titled “Change” that features Swedish singer Elliphant, Los Angeles-based producer Gaslamp Killer, English DJ Riton and Parsian film director So Me using their iPads to compose, write, record and produce a remix of Elliphant’s “All or nothing” song.

The ad shows them using apps like GarageBand, iMPC Pro, Manual Camera, Serato Remote and more. The ad has been released by the Cupertino company for the 57th annual Grammy Awards, which is being held in Lon Angeles this year.

A report from Billboard suggests that Apple paid north of $2 million dollars for its new music-themed iPad ad.

For the first time since the release of the original iPad, the sale of Apple’s tablets were down on a YoY basis. This is despite the Cupertino company dropping the price of the iPad mini 2 to $249 in October last year to lure more tablet buyers who were on a shoestring budget.

Apple is expected to release a new 12.2-inch iPad Pro in the first half of this year with some innovative new features, which will hopefully revive the declining iPad sales.
