Apple has posted a video on its Chinese retail website, which shows the creation of a mural co-authored by award-winning photographer Navid Baraty and artist Yangyang Pan to celebrate the upcoming opening of Jiefangbei Apple Store in Chongqing, China.

To celebrate the opening of the new Apple Store retail outlets, we have invited international artists from Chongqing to Yangyang Pan, as well as award-winning international photographer Navid Baraty co-authoring a piece of art. This is the second such video created for the opening of an Apple Store in China. Apple had posted a video to celebrate the opening of its first retail store in Hangzhou, China last week, which is also Apple’s largest store in Asia.

Angela Ahrendts, Apple’s retail chief recently revealed that Apple’s going more aggressive when it comes to retail and China. She revealed that Apple will be opening up five new Apple Stores within China in the next five weeks to coincide with the Chinese New Year holiday, February 19.
