Apple Pay has already seen plenty of growth and acceptance since its launch in late 2014, but there is still a lot more to do for the mobile payments solution.

According to a press release issued by USA Technologies recently, the company that’s a leader within the wireless, cashless payments and other solutions for small-ticket, self-service retailing industries is preparing to bring Apple Pay to upwards of 200,000 new points of sale for consumers.

That means a wide assortment of new areas will gain access to Apple Pay as a means for transactions, including kiosks, parking terminals, vending machines and more.

Our customers are excited to accept Apple Pay at the self-serve locations they operate,” said Stephen P. Herbert, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of USA Technologies. “We anticipate that the millions of consumers who frequent these locations will appreciate the convenience and security of using Apple Pay for their everyday purchases, and we believe that Apple Pay will help to drive additional sales for our customers. USA Technologies has always sought to provide convenience, security and an easy way to pay for consumers who are less and less likely to carry cash. We recognized early on the potential for mobile payment, and promoted the technology to ensure our customers were ready for this shift to occur.

One of the biggest brands that USA Technologies works with is Starbucks, along with plenty of other smaller brands, and these entities should start to showcase Apple Pay as an option for checking out as early as today. Recently, Western Union announced its own support for Apple Pay as well.

Have you tried out Apple Pay yet?
