There are a lot of subscription options out there, but with Amazon Prime a lot of different options open up for the yearly subscribers.Prime is used for a variety of different things with Amazon, like free two-day shipping and access to a large number of digital movies (think Netflix), plus quite a bit more. Normally, Prime is available for $99 per year, but it looks like Amazon is using the buzz from one of its most popular shows to create a one-day deal for any potential buyers out there.
Following a glowing presence at the Golden Globes, where Amazon’s series TRANSPARENT starring Jeffrey Tambor won the award for best television comedy or musical, Amazon is aiming to get even more eyes focused on the show — and Prime’s services. As reported by The Verge, on Saturday, January 24, Amazon will be streaming the entire first season of TRANSPARENT, while also offering up a discount of its Prime service for those who want to buy into it.
For one day only, Amazon Prime will be available for $72.

It’s quite a deal, especially considering the presence that Amazon has on platforms like iOS, with Amazon Instant Video, Kindle and other services. Do you plan on taking advantage of the deal?
