The leading telecom operator Bharati Airtel is going to launch 4G services in India. Airtel Successfully conducted 4G trial in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Punjab and Kolkata Circles. With this 4G service, Airtel customers will be able to access 50 Mbps of speed.
Starting the first place in Kolkata and may be After than Maharashtra, Karnataka and Punjab circles in three and will be introduced. With the launch in Kolkata, Airtel will be the first company to start 4G services in the country, sources said.
With this 4G service, Airtel customers will be able to access 50 Mbps of speed or technically it is 10 times more than 3G speed. The launch of commercial 4G LTE services this year will allow Airtel customers a much improved internet experience when using bandwidth-intensive applications like HD video streaming and gaming with faster response times or low latency.
The company has not released any further details about the services. Other companies which will offer 4G services include Reliance Infotel (22 circles), BSNL (20 circles), Aircel (8 circles), Tikona (5 circles), Qualcomm (4 circles), MTNL (2 circles) and Augere (1 circle).
